Savvas Savva
Savvas Savva was born in Larnaka in 1986 and throughout his career he has worked in many prestigious hotels and resorts around the island. He is also a member of WACS and Euro – Toques Cyprus. His special love about the traditional Cypriot cuisine and the spread of it, made him participate in many domestic and international culinary competitions. He won many awards in domestic as well as in international competitions. Some of them are: Gold Award for the “Grand Prix Challenge” at the Mediterranean Culinary Challenge Gastronomia, Cyprus, 2014 and Gold Award for the “Junior Competitors” at the 8th International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival, Turkey, 2010. Savvas honoured his country, Cyprus and the Cypriot cuisine when he won the title of the Junior Chef International. Taking part in the 8th International Istanbul Gastronomy Festival, Savvas won the greatest distinction so far in his career, when between 35 countries from all over the world; he won the gold award for the “Junior Golden Chef of the Year (International) 2010”
